Specialty Gear Warranty Policy

  • All Specialty Gear products are covered against defects in materials and workmanship by a limited warranty for one year from date of purchase as listed on the sales receipt.
  • Evidence of abuse, misuse or alteration of product as determined by Specialty Gear voids the warranty.
  • The warranty is valid for the original purchaser of the product from an authorized Specialty Gear Distributor or Dealer.
  • This warranty is void if the original owner does not have the sales receipt. IT IS CRITICAL THAT YOU KEEP YOUR SALES RECEIPT IN A SAFE PLACE, AS REPAIRS WILL NOT BE PERFORMED WITHOUT IT!
  • In the event of defects, Specialty Gear liability shall never exceed the original retail cost of the product.

Specialty Gear Return Policy

  • NOTE: Specialty Archery has a minimum restocking fee of 10% to cover expenses incurred in processing a return such as replacement packaging and/or credit card fees.
  • Returns older than 30 days, clearance items, or items showing signs of abuse or misuse are not eligible for return.
  • All return/exchange/warranty requests are subject to approval by Specialty Archery LLC prior to any credit being offered.
  • If a return/exchange/warranty is authorized, Specialty Archery will refund the amount of product (less any applicable restocking fees) within 48 hours of approval. Please note that refunds may not show up on your credit card statement for up to 10 business days.
  • If the return/exchange/warranty claim is denied, the owner of the product will be contacted with a quote for the repair cost and/or return shipping cost. If you do not wish to pay for the repairs and/or return shipping, items not claimed within 6 months will be discarded.

Specialty Gear Return/Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. Call Specialty Gear at 712-580-5762 between the hours of 8AM and 4PM (Central Standard Time) to obtain a Return Authorization (R.A.) number. You may also send an email to [email protected] to request an R.A. number.
  2. Specialty Gear will assign a R.A. number for the return/exchange/warranty claim.
    1. Do NOT return an item to Specialty Gear prior to having an R.A. number assigned.
  3. Once an RA number has been assigned, return the product to Specialty Gear for evaluation.
    1. Customers are responsible for return shipping.
    2. Any product being returned must have an R.A. number assigned prior to shipping
    3. The R.A. number must be clearly marked on the package.
    4. Include a brief description of the issue inside the package, and be sure to include the name, telephone number, shipping address and email address of contact person.
    5. NOTE: Do NOT use a standard letter envelope for return of small items such as Peeps, Clarifiers or Verifiers as these items will be squeezed out of the envelope when it goes through the SORTING MACHINES at the post office. Use a small padded envelope or box.
    6. If using a padded envelope, write “NON-MACHINEABLE” on the outside of the package.
    7. Specialty Gear is not liable for products lost in shipping. Please keep a record of your tracking information and proof of delivery.

  4. When Specialty Gear received the product, it will be evaluated for refund/exchange/warranty eligibility.
